Monowai Estate Limited Licence Number 29/OFF/054/20 replaces Licence 29/OFF/061/17.

The off-licence in respect of the premises situated at 1793 Matapiro Road, Matapiro and known as "Monowai Estate Limited" is renewed.

The present conditions of the licence shall continue to apply subject to the following change:

The holder of this licence must display on the website, in a prominent place, the alcohol licence number, expiry date and a copy of the licence for the premises.

Subject to the requirements of the Act relating to the payment of fees, and to the provisions of the Act relating to the suspension and cancellation of licences, the licence continues in force:

  • ?  until the close of the period for which it is renewed; or

  • ?  if an application for the renewal of the licence is duly made before it would otherwise expire, until the

    close of the period of 3 years after the period for which it is renewed.
    The period for which the licence is renewed is three years and nil months, expiring on:

Pursuant to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 (the Act), MONOWAI ESTATE LIMITED (the licensee) is authorised to sell alcohol on the premises situated at 1793 Matapiro Road, Matapiro, Hastings and known as “Monowai Estate Limited” and deliver it somewhere else to any person for consumption.

Endorsement

Section 40 of the Act applies to this licence; and the licensee is authorised to sell alcohol from (but not on) the premises and deliver it somewhere else.

Conditions

This licence is subject to the following conditions:

  1. A remote sale of alcohol may be made at any time on any day.

  2. The holder of this licence must ensure that any alcohol sold by remote sale is not delivered to the buyer (or to any other person on the buyer’s behalf) at any time after 11.00 pm on any day or before 6.00 am on the next day.

  3. No alcohol is to be delivered from the premises on Good Friday, or Christmas Day, or before 1.00 pm on Anzac Day.

  4. No alcohol is to be delivered from the premises at any time on Easter Sunday unless it is grape wine or fruit or vegetable wine made:

    1. (i)  On the premises; or

    2. (ii)  From produce harvested from land on which the premises are situated.

  5. The holder of this licence must take reasonable steps to verify that the buyer of any alcohol that the holder sells by remote sale (and, if a person other than the buyer is to receive it, to verify that the receiver) is not under the purchase age.

  6. The holder of this licence must display on the website, in a prominent place, the alcohol licence number, expiry date and a copy of the licence for the premises.

  7. The licensed area is described in a plan date stamped as received by the Hastings District Licensing Agency on 20 September 2017.

Duration

Subject to the requirements of the Act relating to the payment of fees, and to the provisions of the Act relating to the suspension and cancellation of licences, this licence continues in force:
a) either:

  1. (i)  until the close of the period for which it was last renewed; or

  2. (ii)  if it has never been renewed, until the close of the period of 12 months after the day it was issued; but

b) if an application for the renewal of the licence is duly made before the licence would otherwise expire, either:

  1. (i)  until the close of the period of 3 years after the period for which it was last renewed; or

  2. (ii)  if it has never been renewed, until the close of the period of 4 years after the day it was issued.
